Module 1 - UK GDPR - Why is the UK GDPR so important?

The UK General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) is UK law that makes organisations that hold the personal data of UK citizens accountable for its use. But how much do you really know about the UK GDPR? 

 

This module will outline the key definitions of the UK GDPR. It’s important that you understand these terms for the completion of this course.

Module 2 - UK GDPR - Key Definitions

The UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) is the UK’s data protection law that was put into effect on the 01st January 2021. 

The UK GDPR applies to all organisations in the UK that hold or process any personal data of individuals residing in or visiting the UK. It also applies to all organisations outside of the UK who offer goods or services to individuals in the UK.

This module will provide a brief overview of Data Subjects and their right

Module 3 - UK GDPR - Data Subjects - Additional Rights and Consent

The UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) is the UK’s data protection law that was put into effect on the 01st January 2021. 

The UK GDPR applies to all organisations in the UK that hold or process any personal data of individuals residing in or visiting the UK. It also applies to all organisations outside of the UK who offer goods or services to individuals in the UK.

This module will look at seven data protection principles in more detail.

Module 4 - UK GDPR - Data Protection Principles

Module 5 - UK GDPR - Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA)s and Security Measures

This module will take a look at the processing conditions of the UK GDPR.

This module will investigate in more detail the meaning of fair processing.

Module 7 - UK GDPR - Fair Processing

The UK General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) is UK law that makes organisations that hold the personal data of UK citizens accountable for its use. But how much do you really know about the UK GDPR? 

 

This module will investigate in more detail the meaning of fair processing and one of the key steps your organisation will need to take to satisfy this requirement of UK GDPR.

Module 8 - UK GDPR - Data Protection Officer and UK Representative

The UK General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) is UK law that makes organisations that hold the personal data of UK citizens accountable for its use. But how much do you really know about the UK GDPR? 

 

This module will investigate in more detail data breaches and the ramifications of non compliance.
