Good teams don’t just appear out of nowhere: they’re developed. There are many different factors that impact a team’s success, including social dynamics, expectations, level of skill and experience, and personal matters. There are models that describe how teams develop over time. One of the most popular team development models is called the Tuckman model, and it’s generally accepted as the basic standard of team development. In this course, we’ll go through the five stages of the Tuckman model, known as forming, storming, norming, performing, and adjourning.
