Course Description

(Updated Jan 2025)

Solve Problems with Appreciative Inquiry provides new ways of dealing with problems when things go wrong, and avoiding a natural negativity bias. This course explores this flipped way of solving a problem through a 5D model starting with define – this is goal, then discover what is already being done well, dream of what are we ultimately aim for. Design is planning how the goal is achieved and destiny is making the dream reality and powering up commitment. Kylie Bell provides case examples of where this was used, in government and a retail client. This alternate approach was devised by David Cooperrider.
