Welcome to the “Understanding Resistance” video lesson meant to help learners see why people’s first reaction to change is often negative. This lesson is the second of five in the “Organizational Change” video course, which highlights how to successfully guide an organization through change. During this lesson, learners will examine the three general attitudes regarding organizational change and consider why people react differently to change. Viewers will also learn common reasons why individuals resist change and consider the positive role resistance can play in making a change initiative more successful.
