What you'll learn

  • how you can support dyslexic learners pick out key points and long term storage
  • use strategies to support students who forget what they have revised
Course Description

Overview

I will look at reasons why dyslexic students are often "quick forgetters" and present evidence based solutions which empower them to organise revision, to identify key points in revision texts and process them for long term storage. The strategies work across the age groups and are as relevant for students in the primary phase as they are for secondary. Presented by Neil MacKay
