Kylie Bell says that leaders need to create safe, secure workplaces, and to role-model being calm and in control. They can also put measures in place for people to de-stress, such as yoga at lunch time, gym memberships, massages, coaching and mentoring. They need to promote health and wellbeing – offering training in healthy eating and living, and mindfulness programs. Just going for a walk is an excellent way to re-stress and build resilience.
