Awards and Enterprise Agreements are not necessarily simple to comply with, and Employers have a personal responsibility to inform themselves thoroughly to ensure that they comply with the terms of applicable Awards or Enterprise Agreements.

• Identify the difference between an Award and an Agreement;
   
• Locate a copy of the current Award that applies to your business;
   
• Understand ways to meet the employer’s obligation to keep up to date on changes to their Award;
   
• Identify typical contents of a Modern Award;
