Course Description
This course presents an all-inclusive explanation of the provisions made by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). It highlights the important aspects of the bill and the implications it has on financial institutions. Furthermore, the course will designate applicable business interactions between health care providers and financial institutions, regulations involving Protected Health Information (PHI), and specific rules enacted under HIPAA.
