Course Description

Working conditions that include physical exertion, high temperatures, and high humidity can lead to serious health complications—and even death—due to heat stress. That’s why it’s essential for industrial and outdoor workers to have strategies for identifying and dealing with heat stress. This course includes guidance on complying with California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 8 (T8), sections 3395 and 3396.


In this self-paced course, you’ll learn the dangers of heat stress, its signs and symptoms, and how you can manage and prevent it. This course culminates in a 10-question assessment.
