Course Description

Every day, millions are exposed to workplace hazards that can cause serious injury. Workers who face injury aren’t the only ones who pay, either; for their employers, the consequences can be dire, including lost productivity, income, and opportunity. In this course, you’ll learn about the various types of workplace hazards, the US Department of Occupational Health and Safety (OSHA) requirements that are designed to prevent those hazards, and communications you should have in place in your workplace to promote safety. You’ll also learn how to read a Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
