Course Description
When we are safeguarding children, we're protecting against all types of abuse and neglect, and this includes abuse relating to female genital mutilation. It can be a difficult subject to understand, but this course has been designed to help you gain the knowledge you need within your role, and should also help towards reducing any anxiety you may have around your safeguarding repsonsibilities when working with or dealing with people who have different belief systems.
This is part of the Female Genital Mutilation course.

Those with duties and responsibilities of safeguarding children.
