Course Description

Emergencies are usually unexpected, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be prepared. Understanding OSHA’s emergency response requirements for employers and how you as an employee can be prepared could make all the difference in the event of a disaster. 


In this self-paced course, which combines guidelines from OSHA and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), you’ll learn about workplace requirements for exit routes, first aid, alarm systems, fire extinguishers, action plans, fire prevention, and hazardous materials—through concise content and beautiful illustrations. The course culminates in a 10-question final assessment.
