Course Description

Course Overview

Clearly defined professional boundaries benefit everyone. In this three-module course you will begin by reflecting upon your own professional boundaries and distinguish between actions that can impact your professional relationships positively and negatively. In the second module you will build a range of actionable skills, strategies and techniques to help you communicate better. In the third and final module you will focus on parents and young carers, all whilst refining an approach to communication that enables positive communication to flourish. Ultimately, this course will enable you to confidently maintain your professional boundaries and build successful working relationships. 

 

Target Audience

This course is perfect for you if you work with or have contact with children, young people and their families. And although it forms part of an induction programme for new starters, it’s also ideal if you want to improve your knowledge and continue your professional development.
