This course describes common workplace conflicts of interest and the circumstances in which they arise. It is intended to train employees of all types of organizations about the importance of identifying actual and potential conflicts of interest, the obligation to disclose a conflict or even the appearance of one, and the need for an organization to manage conflicts of interest carefully. The course covers recognizing and avoiding conflicts of interest, particularly with regard to personal, financial, and family interests. Avoiding conflicts of interest with customers and suppliers and handling offers of gifts and entertainment are also addressed.
