Course Description

Minimising the spread of flu saves lives. Older people are especially vulnerable to serious complications associated with the flu and make up the largest proportion of deaths associated with flu annually.

This comprehensive course focuses on the identification and management of influenza in non-hospital settings such as residential aged care facilities and community care homes.

It provides practical guidance on how to prevent the spread of flu and how to contain an outbreak.
